Prize Draw – Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is Davies Implements Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 606593, with its registered office at Blaenteg, Trevaughan, Carmarthen SA31 3QN.
2. Eligibility
2.1 This free prize draw is open to residents of England and Wales only and must be aged 18 years or over, excluding:
- Employees of the Promoter or any Octopost stockist,
- Their immediate families, or
- Anyone professionally connected with the prize draw.
2.2 Entry is free, and no purchase is necessary.
2.3 By entering the prize draw, you confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements and accept these Terms and Conditions.
3. How to Enter
3.1 To enter, participants must complete their details on the Octopost website ‘Win a FREE pack of Tanatsote® Octoposts’ during the prize draw period.
3.2 Only one entry per person is permitted. Duplicate or bulk entries will be disqualified.
3.3 The prize draw opens on Monday 21st July 2025 and closes at 11:59 PM on 31st October 2025. Entries received after this time will not be valid.
4. The Prize
4.1 One winner will receive a pack of either Octopost 80-1800 or 100-1800 Tanasote® posts. The winner can choose which pack they would rather.
4.2 The winner must collect the prize from their nearest participating Octopost stockist, as advised by the Promoter.
4.3 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available.
4.4 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary, due to availability or other circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1 The winner will be chosen at random using a computerised process from all valid entries received before the closing date.
5.2 The winner will be notified by email or telephone within 7 days of the closing date.
5.3 If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner.
6. Publicity
6.1 The winner may be asked to participate in promotional activity related to the prize draw.
6.2 With their consent, the winner’s name and/or town may be used in promotional materials or announcements (including on the Promoter’s website and social media).
7. Data Protection and Privacy
7.1 The Promoter will collect and process participants’ personal data for the purpose of administering the prize draw.
7.2 By entering the prize draw, personal data will be used for marketing purposes and will be shared with Octoposts stockists.
7.3 All data will be handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
7.4 Participants can withdraw consent or request deletion of their data at any time by contacting the Promoter at sales@octopost.co.uk.
8. General
8.1 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend this prize draw where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond its control.
8.2 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry or participant found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions or engaging in unfair practices.
8.3 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
