Large shipment of Octoposts arrive in Newport docks
We are pleased to announce that the first major shipment of Octoposts has successfully arrived at our new storage facility at Newport Docks. This milestone marks an important step in strengthening our logistics network and ensuring we are well-positioned to meet growing demand. The facility has been carefully selected to support efficient handling and storage, enabling us to maintain high standards in the management and availability of our products.
Strategically located, the Newport facility provides an ideal base for distribution across the southern region of the UK, with coverage extending as far north as Yorkshire and as far south as Cornwall. This central positioning allows for more streamlined and responsive delivery, improving lead times and overall service to our customers. The new site will play a key role in supporting our continued growth and enhancing the reliability of Octopost supply across the region.
New Storage facility in Newport
We are delighted to announce the recent appointment of Power Poles Ltd (PPL) to oversee the storage and handling of Octoposts. PPL is a well-established and highly respected company, with extensive experience in the supply and distribution of utility poles across the UK.
Ideally located at Alexandra Docks in Newport, PPL is perfectly positioned to receive large vessels, enabling efficient offloading of bulk shipments directly into their storage facilities. This strategic location significantly enhances our logistics capabilities and ensures a streamlined supply chain.
In addition to their excellent infrastructure, PPL brings valuable knowledge and industry expertise that will support the continued growth and distribution of Octoposts across the southern region of the UK.
